Dr. Virginia Still was born and raised in Atlanta. She ventured to Blacksburg, VA to attend Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree where she double majored in Animal Sciences along with Biological Sciences. Dr. Still spent the next few years working in a DNA research lab before realizing that becoming a veterinarian had always been her dream and her calling. She headed out to Manhattan, KS (aka the Little Apple) to attend Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.
Dr. Still completed a small animal rotating internship at The Regional Veterinary Referral Center (RVRC) outside of the Washington, D.C. area. During this time she discovered her love for emergency and critical care medicine. Upon completion of the internship, Dr . Still decided it was time to return home where she spent the next several years as an emergency vet before joining the ERVH family.
Her professional interests include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and wound management cases. Dr. Still’s fur family consists of her dog (Zoey) and her cat (Frank). Outside of work she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
