What is Cold Laser Therapy?
K Laser is laser therapy for your pet cat and dog and has many beneficial uses such as alleviating chronic pain, accelerating healing and rehabilitation.
How does it work?
Laser energy is absorbed in water, increases local circulation and therefore drawing oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain. As the injured area returns to normal, the functionis restored and pain is relieved.
Is it painful to my pet?
No, it is a painless process. It is usually pleasant and comforting to the animal, as a warming sensation is felt at the treatment site.
When is Cold Laser beneficial?
Pain management–this is a non-invasive therapy used instead of drug therapy for the treatment of chronic pain.
Wound healing–Laser therapy can significantly reduce healing time, while at the same time improving the quality of tissue (stronger, more normal tissues, less tension, and scar formation) traumatic skin injuries and surgical incisions benefit from laser intervention.
Rehabilitation–bone and muscle injuries and orthopedic surgeries often require additional rehabilitation solutions. Laser therapy provided non-invasive remedies for quicker recovery.
