Dr. Zach Lane is a Georgia native and grew up in Woodstock. From a young age, his love of animals sparked a passion for animal healthcare. Even before college, he sought out a job as an emergency room vet tech where he could make a difference in the lives of pets.
That passion for animal health took him to Berry College in Rome, where he majored in Animal Science and Chemistry, all the way to St. George’s School of Veterinary Medicine, 3,000 miles away, on the beautiful island of Grenada in the West Indies. He then completed his clinical training at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Upon graduation, he knew that he had to come home to practice. Back in Atlanta, Dr. Lane returned to his roots in emergency and critical care, gaining his years of experience in treating complicated and unique medical cases. Dr. Lane now brings his depth of diagnostic and surgical knowledge to East Roswell Vet Hospital and general practice. Dr. Lane looks forward to building a relationship with you and having the opportunity to offer optimal care for your pet.
His professional interests include exotic medicine, emergency care, soft tissue and trauma surgery, and integrative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Lane enjoys gardening, rock climbing, and shares his home with several dogs, chickens, horses, parrots and reptiles.
Hi! I am originally from the Ukraine, where I graduated veterinary school. I've been living here in the US since 2005 and now am a proud citizen of this beautiful country.
Ever since I moved here I have enjoyed working in veterinary medicine, surrounding myself with so many skilled veterinarians, technicians and assistants. I also specialize in emergency care and laboratory work. My love and specialty has always been caring for all kinds of animals.
When I'm not working, I can be found playing with my three kitty cats, enjoying salsa and bachata dancing or updating myself on important issues in Veterinary Medicine.
Hi, my name is David Herbertson. I was born and raised here in Georgia. I started working with rescue animals and groups at 12 years old. My love and passion for animals has lead me to work with and handle all kinds of animals including snakes (of all sizes), birds, and even wildlife. I have always had a passion for animals, but my interest of computers took me a different direction for a while.
After not enjoying college for computer networking, I began my pursuit of becoming a veterinary technician. I am very grateful for the opportunity East Roswell Vet Hospital has given me to be a veterinary assistant and work my way to becoming a veterinary technician!
Hi! my name is Addington Hobbs and I’m an Atlanta native. I have been working at East Roswell Vet Hospital since high school, starting as a Kennel tech and then learning the ropes as a veterinary assistant. My experience and our team have inspired me to pursue a veterinary degree after I complete my Bachelor of Animal Science.
I love traveling and exploring other cultures. I speak some Spanish and even have tackled some Turkish! I am a passionate equestrian and have competed in several competitions and have (minor) injuries under my belt. I have two dachshunds, a pitbull, a greyhound mix, and two guinea pigs! In my free time, I volunteer with Special Equestrians of Georgia and listen to music.
