Dr. Zach Lane, DVM

Dr. Zach Lane is a Georgia native and grew up in Woodstock. From a young age, his love of animals sparked a passion for animal healthcare. Even before college, he sought out a job as an emergency room vet tech where he could make a difference in the lives of pets.

That passion for animal health took him to Berry College in Rome, where he majored in Animal Science and Chemistry, all the way to St. George’s School of Veterinary Medicine, 3,000 miles away, on the beautiful island of Grenada in the West Indies. He then completed his clinical training at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Upon graduation, he knew that he had to come home to practice. Back in Atlanta, Dr. Lane returned to his roots in emergency and critical care, gaining his years of experience in treating complicated and unique medical cases. Dr. Lane now brings his depth of diagnostic and surgical knowledge to East Roswell Vet Hospital and general practice. Dr. Lane looks forward to building a relationship with you and having the opportunity to offer optimal care for your pet.

His professional interests include exotic medicine, emergency care, soft tissue and trauma surgery, and integrative medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Lane enjoys gardening, rock climbing, and shares his home with several dogs, chickens, horses, parrots and reptiles.
